Greek grind/black metal outfit STHENO unleashed their second album, “Wardance,” on October 8th, 2021.

Featuring 11 blistering tracks, “Wardance” delivers a relentless assault of tremolo riffs and war-ready percussion, blurring the lines between grindcore, black metal, death metal, and other extreme genres. Since their formation in 2013, STHENO has forged a path of uncompromising brutality, born out of the Greek grind and crust scene, combining the chaos of grindcore with the raw aggression of black and death metal—all without adhering to the confines of any single subgenre.

After lineup changes and numerous shows across Greece, Germany, Switzerland, and France, STHENO’s new record is a war-themed concept album featuring Christian Chaco, frontman of German death-grinders KEITZER, on vocals. Produced by Stelios “Stelth” Koslidis, “Wardance” showcases metallic mayhem that is both dynamic and unrelenting.
